PART-TIME IN VIVO SCIENTIST – ONCOLOGY PHARMACOLOGY

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically rigorous In Vivo Scientist to support preclinical oncology programs through the design, execution, and interpretation of murine cancer studies.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, execute, and interpret in vivo oncology studies.
• Conduct and oversee xenograft and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) studies.
• Perform oral gavage, intraperitoneal and subcutaneous injections, blood collection, and PDX transplantation.
• Support efficacy, tolerability, toxicity, PK/PD, and combination therapy studies.
• Collaborate with internal and external research teams.
• Analyze experimental data and contribute to scientific reports and presentations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and high standards of scientific integrity and reproducibility.
Candidate Requirements
• MSc plus 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Significant experience with murine cancer models, including xenograft and/or PDX studies.
• Strong understanding of oncology pharmacology and preclinical drug development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with cell culture techniques.
• Experience working with CROs or multi-site preclinical development programs.
• Peer-reviewed scientific publications.
• Proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, or statistical software.
English-Language Requirement
Functional English-language skills are required because the position involves collaboration with partners outside Quebec, review of scientific and regulatory materials primarily available in English, and preparation of materials for international audiences.
